This morning we took the cogwheel train up to Jungfraujoch. Billed as the “Top of Europe.” Not bad, at 3571 meters (11,760 feet). The top two photos taken of Jungfrau, which is 4148 meters, are from the Sphinx observation terrace and weather station.

The Kugelbahn at the Verkehrshaus, Luzern. The ball travels through all things Swiss. The only thing missing in this story is the depiction of the frozen bank accounts of certain (former) leaders that won’t be mentioned.

From the billboard collection.
Alpwirtschaft Unterlauelen, 1063 meters. Out for a stroll behind Mt. Pilatus. This is the area to be in for cross-country skiing and more specifically the place to go when hungry.
Verkehrshaus, Luzern. The ultimate transportation museum! This takes me back to my former model railroading days. They are long gone by now but I am pretty sure my homemade mountains looked like these! (joking, they didn’t)
