We spent the last couple of weeks wondering where people go to buy their Christmas trees. Our conclusion was that they must all hike up an alp and cut them down. Well, a week before Christmas and the day before we leave for Amsterdam for the week the entire lakefront path at old town becomes forested. Or, I suppose, deforested. Or, forested with a former forest. Anyway, there were thousands of trees for sale of all sizes. It was quite an experience to walk through the aisles of trees along the lake. A completely different context for something that was so familiar. So next year expect to see an image of a tree on the stroller.
